Caitlin Adams

I just ran across your post (long after you wrote it). Glenda Adams is my mother, and I am her only child. I miss her so much -- and it is lovely to run across memories of her that others hold. Thank you.

Your mother was a wise and kind. A nice combination. I treasure the memories I have of her classes. I took two at Columbia.

A smart and gifted teacher, in addition to being a talented writer, she was encouraging and able to critique things in the best possible way.

She was wonderful and spoke of you at every conference I had with her as I was the mother of a four year old boy who had to be entered into the NYC private school system. Did you go to St. Ann's i in Brooklyn Hts? I hope I have this right about St. Ann's -- she talked about your enrollment there.

I wish you and yours all the best and I don't have the words to say how much your mother iaffected me and the others in the class.

She was wonderful.
