Nice. The nightmares of the '80's just seem to be slipping away lately, no? First Bill the Cat's girlfriend, Jeane Kirkpatrick, and now Pinochet. Can we get a Noriega trifecta?

I love reading the news of the day here, much better reporting than CNN or the boys at Fox.


Most deaths don't make the news, but very few make the front pages like this:
"Thousands of jubilant Chileans streamed into the streets of Santiago after hearing that their former president, Gen. Augusto Pinochet, had died Sunday. Many danced and popped open champagne, while caravans of cars with horns blaring toured the capital for hours"
