Prof Fury

O man that Kantor interview burned my eyes. I'd write more but I've got to go poison the minds of our young by trying to get them to question the credibility of the narrator of "Bartleby, the Scrivener." I mean, I KNOW he does everything he can and that any Good American can be expected to do, so why can't I just see that this story is about how the poor and alienated bring it on themselves?

a) I'm kinda happy to let these kinds of literary scholars beat each other up. I pretty much have the same antipathy for both sides. The enemy of my enemy and so on. It'll be nice to carry around her name in my back pocket next time someone complains about UNC or talks about that book they "read" by David Horowitz.

b) If you have to bet between Rick Moody not playing/choosing "Book of Love" in a similar situation andthe sun not coming up tomorrow, pick the latter.

c) Get well Barry. Again.
