You were born in Selma? I have been in very few places that made me uncomfortable, and Selma was one. Given its stature in civil right history, I found it surprisingly (and still angrily) segregated when I spent time there on a work assignment.


Yep, Selma. I haven't been there in over seven years, but I know what you mean, lhb. It's always been that way and has shown no sign of getting better. Still have relatives there, so I'm sure I'll visit again someday.
