I don't have one of those fancy iPod video machine things (yet), but if I did, I guarantee you that a healthy amount of its storage space would be dedicated to and a lot of my time would be spent watching Schoolhouse Rock episodes, which have been made available through iTunes for the low, low price of $1.98 per. Two volumes with eleven episodes each are available, so what are you waiting for?
I hesitate to throw any cold water on Apple's mad appeal, but you can get all the Schoolhouse Rock videos on DVD at a much cheaper price per video/track. I know nothing about the iPod video (and please don't enlighten me -- I can't afford my lifestyle as it is), but if you can transform DVDs to be iPod ready, it seems much the better choice to buy the discs, hmm?

I reckon that would be too easy. I actually don't plan on getting one of the video iPods, since I surely don't need TV following my every step, but if I did, I would have that SHR on there and I think I would follow your advice on ripping them from the DVD.
By the way, Cindy, you still gloating about those Steelers?

I wouldn't say I'm gloating. (Maybe others would.) The Super Bowl wasn't a great game, or even a good one, so the season end was anticlimactic, even with the championship and watching the Rooneys and Cowher and the players hoisting the trophy. The parade/mob celebration a few days later in Pgh was interesting to see, and I think that was the official end of my season. I'm looking ahead to September 7 already.
As far as gloating goes, the big game was the one against Indianapolis; for a week after that I was floating when I walked.
I feel lost on Sunday afternoons now.
