I'm actually cautiously optimistic about the adaptation of Revolutionary Road. Here's something of a preview but beware that this is brought to you by Entertainment Tonight.

I myself am optimistically cautious. I'm coming to grips with the idea that it will scuttle my search for an affordable first edition.
Insert my usual concerns about literary adaptations. But the Nina Simone helps, even if I'm a sucker for musical shortcuts.
No luck trying to find a youtube clip of Lawrence Tierney playing what amounts to Richard Yates (the real Elaine's father) on Seinfeld. But I find it funny that Richard Yates' prickdom pales in comparison to that, in real life, of the man playing him.
