1983

Madonna's debut album came out in 1983, the same year that the Replacements released Hootenanny, which included this song:

Speaking of the Replacements, here's perhaps my favorite song by them, although this version doesn't really do it justice:

great choice...for me it's a toss-up between this and "Unsatisfied."

Both solid, solid choices. About half the time I'm listening to one of their CD's my favorite Mats song is either the one I'm listening to or the song that follow it.

But, if I had to name one and only one. I think it would be Bastards of Young.
