ESPN Page 2's Eric Neel has written an article discussing the oddest batting stances of all-time. He has listed some great ones, including Rod Carew, who despite one of the most awkward stances in the history of the game was actually one of its greatest hitters. My vote goes to Tony Batista. This guy's approach at the plate is so unorthodox that little leaguers should be cautioned before every Batista at bat.
Be sure to check out the photos and vote.
Personally, I always thought Bagwell had a bad case of the shits every times he got up to the plate. Looks like he wants to drop a load.

It has always been a point of fascination that of all the stances that Bagwell tried early in his career, he settled on the squat. Whatever works, I suppose.
